We believe learning should be private. Vocabulary · Infinite is designed to work primarily offline, with your vocabulary, learning activity and progress stored on your own device.

We do not sell personal information, display third-party advertisements, or use advertising trackers in the App.

2. Information stored on your device

Vocabulary · Infinite stores information locally on your device to provide its learning features. This may include:

• Words and personal vocabulary cards you create.
• Bookmarks and saved word collections.
• Quizzes, answers and learning progress.
• Survival mode progress and scores.
• App settings and preferences.
• Information about your unlocked vocabulary packs.

This information is stored in a local database on your device.

The App does not require you to create an account to use its learning features.

You can use available learning content offline. Some functions, such as purchasing or restoring vocabulary packs, require an internet connection.

3. In-app purchases

Vocabulary · Infinite offers optional purchases of additional vocabulary packs.

On iOS, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage purchases, verify entitlements and support purchase restoration.

RevenueCat may process information including:

• An anonymous identifier associated with your App installation.
• Device, operating system and app information needed to operate the purchasing service.
• Purchase receipts, product identifiers and transaction history.
• Information associated with checking or managing purchase entitlements.

This information may be transmitted when the App checks purchase availability or ownership, even if you have not made a purchase.

We use this processing to provide purchased content, restore access and manage the reliability of our purchasing system. The relevant legal bases are performance of a contract and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the purchasing system, where applicable.

4. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, message, screenshots, device information or other details relevant to your enquiry.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, investigate reported problems and provide support.

Support messages are received through Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to our support mailbox hosted by Google.

We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve an enquiry, manage any related follow-up, or meet applicable legal obligations. We then delete it when no longer needed.

Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing support and, where relevant, taking steps to fulfil our obligations to users.

We do not use support email addresses for unsolicited marketing.

5. Website information and analytics

Our website, vocabulary-infinite.com, is hosted using Cloudflare.

Cloudflare may process technical information associated with website requests, such as IP addresses, browser information and request details, to deliver the website and provide security, reliability and protection against malicious traffic.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general website traffic and performance.

This provides information such as page views, referring websites, approximate geographic regions and website performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or browser storage to track visitors, and does not fingerprint individuals for analytics.

We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking services on our website. Cloudflare may separately use essential technical measures to secure and deliver the website.

We use website and security information for our legitimate interests in maintaining, improving and protecting the website.

6. Sharing information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We use external service providers only where necessary to operate the App, manage purchases, host the website or handle support communications. Our principal providers are:

• Apple: App Store purchases and payment processing.
• RevenueCat: Purchase verification and entitlement management.
• Cloudflare: Website hosting, security, analytics and email routing.
• Google: Hosting our support email mailbox.

Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect our legal rights.

We do not share your personal vocabulary or learning progress with advertising companies.

7. Data storage, retention and security

Your personal vocabulary and learning progress remain on your device until you remove the relevant information or uninstall the App.

Uninstalling the App normally removes its locally stored data. However, copies may remain in device backups managed by your operating system or backup provider.

Purchase information is retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their applicable retention practices and legal obligations.

Website technical records are retained according to the relevant Cloudflare services and settings.

We take reasonable measures to protect information under our control and use established service providers for external processing. However, no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. International data processing

Some of our service providers operate internationally, and information processed by Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare or Google may be stored or accessed outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.

Where applicable, international transfers are subject to relevant data protection requirements, including recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
